In recognition of National Minority Health Month, DOH- Hardee is working to host the 2nd Annual Multi-Cultural Day at Pioneer Park on April 20th from 1:30-4:30 PM. This event will provide attendees with culturally and linguistically appropriate information regarding health and wellness while providing a safe, family-friendly event for residents to enjoy.
Last year’s success was made apparent by the community’s participation (over 500 attendees) and the feedback that was given, both positive and constructive, that will be used in this year’s event to improve and represent the wonderful diversity this community has to offer. A focus on direct care and screenings, with an emphasis on free and low-cost services available to Hardee County residents is being offered with the help of new partners.
