5 Beaches to visit in Florida

It's getting hot in Florida and you know what that means...beaches every weekend! If you are new to Florida, or are tired of going to the same old beaches then check out this list for some new inspiration.

 

#1 Clearwater Beach

Located in Clearwater Florida, which is about two hours from Sebring. This beach has been voted #1 beach in America several years in a row. This beach is beautiful and is definitely worth the drive!

 

#2 Anna Maria Beach

Located on Anna Maria Island, which is about an hour and a half from Sebring. This beach offers tons of amenties but make sure you get there EARLY to secure parking. Theres a reason this beach made it to the #2 spot on our list!

 

#3 Siesta Key Beach

Located in Sarasota, FL and about an hour and twenty minutes from Sebring, lies the all too famous Siesta Key Beach! This beach is famous for the white sands and clear waters. If you have never been to this gem, add it to your list. Once you're done at the beach make sure you get a snack on the way home. There are all kinds of ice cream and donut shops nearby that the kids will love!

 

#4 Daytona Beach

Located in Daytona, FL. Normally famous for the Daytona 500 and spring break shenanigans, Daytona Beach is a great place to go in the summer if you're looking for a nice east coast beach.The good news is that if you don't want to spend all day at the beach, there is always something happening in Daytona!

 

#5 The Keys

Located in Key West, FL. The Keys, this spot needs no introduction. They are beautiful and full of history. It is anywhere from a 3-5 hour drive, depending on which area you go, but it is definitely worth it. If you have never thought about going to the keys, start planning now! The beaches are amazing, the shops are beautiful, and the views are spectacular!

 

Bonus Beach: St. Augustine Beach

Located in St. Augustine, FL this town is full of history! If you are looking to go on a family vacation, but you don't want to spend all day at the beach, then St. Augustine is for you! There is so much to see and do, you will never be bored!

 

No matter your preferences, the beach has a way of making us feel relaxed and care free. These are just a few suggestions of many great beaches here in Florida. We are surrounded by water on three sides, after all!
